Thomas Franco, MSW, LICSW received his Master of Social Work degree with distinction from the University of Southern California. Mr. Franco specializes in treating anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, depression, and clients dually diagnosed with substance abuse. In addition, he is a life coach who is well-versed in work and life issues. Mr. Franco is skilled in several treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavoral and Solution-Focused Therapies, with mindfulness a key component of his work. His client base comes from a large number of diverse populations, including the homeless, members of the LGBT community, youth and young adults, and families in crisis. Mr. Franco has successfully treated clients contending with trauma, PTSD, and sexual identity issues. Prior to joining his current practice, Mr. Franco worked as a Senior Clinician under the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, providing intensive services to dually diagnosed adults. His previous experience includes work with adult caregivers in a variety of settings. This experience has given Mr. Franco a particular expertise in working with older adults and geriatric clients suffering from depression.
