Thomas Franco, MSW, LICSW, LCSW received his Master of Social Work degree with distinction from the University of Southern California (USC). Mr. Franco specializes in treating anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, and clients dually diagnosed with substance abuse. In addition, he is a life coach who is well-versed in work and life issues. Mr. Franco is skilled in several treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavoral and Solution-Focused Therapies, with mindfulness a key component of his work.
He has provided counsel to employees holding or pursuing leadership roles from the following highly prestigious companies in the US and globally: American Express; The New York Times; Amazon; Lockheed Martin; Disney; Spotify; Michael Kors; Samsung; Korn Ferry; and Deloitte. His client base comes from a large number of diverse populations, including members of the LGBT community, youth and young adults, and families in crisis. Mr. Franco has successfully treated clients contending with trauma, PTSD, and sexual identity issues.
Prior to joining his current practice, Mr. Franco worked as a Senior Clinician under the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, providing intensive services to dually diagnosed adults. His previous experience includes working as an internal consultant, professor, and counselor at USC. This experience has given Mr. Franco a well-rounded and unique background.
